We are a registered charity and, under our constitution, we are required to have a committee to oversee the running of the Nursery. The Committee, as the employer, has three elected officers, Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer, and up to 9 additional elected members. The Committee is elected each year at the AGM. Committee members are typically parents, carers and grandparents of the children at the Nursery, who give up their valuable time to enable the Nursery to run efficiently and effectively.

The Committee is responsible for policy matters, fundraising and overall control of the Nursery. They are not paid to carry out these duties, but enjoy the involvement. Committee Meetings take place monthly and are a great opportunity to have your say in your child’s pre-school education.
